Poggio Cocco Farm Agriculture Industry Poggio Cocco is located near the little rural village Cupi, in the municipality of Magliano in Toscana, in front of Uccellina mountains, at approximately 150 metres on the water level.
This area is without a doubt an ideal habitat for grape cultivation thanks to the nearby sea with its mild effect on climate and the range of north side hills that protects it from wind as well as providing ideal exposure to the sun. Therefore, here you can see many vineyards, olive-groves, and typical Mediterranean bushes that frame the hills of the countryside. This landscape is one that the local rural people take great pride in and lovingly care for.
The Bandinelli family has lived here for over 50 years, first as share-croppers then as landowners. They have been devoted from the beginning to grape and olive cultivation.
Recently, with the new generations of the Bandinelli family in the industry, wine production has increased by fully utilizing the area's potential.

Poggio Cocco Farm The industrial politics' basic principles are the following:

Hard work in the vineyards results in ideal products to work with;
Low yields per hectare allow the grapevine to provide optimal results;
Maximum consideration for the environment is achieved by introducing the industry to the biological cultivation's circuit;
Traditional and patient methods are observed, such as grape harvesting by hand and the immediate processing of the grapes as well as the innovation of the more modern and sophisticated wine-making technologies;
Effort to preserve characteristic qualities of wine grown in a given region by choosing solely local Tuscan vine-growing for wine production;
On the other hand, particular attention is also directed to research and innovation methods which in recent years have lead the industry to introduce new clones in the wine-making process, without spoiling the wine typicality through alteration.

By tasting this industry's products, the sensations felt are that of ancient time. They convey the tastes, fragrances, and colours of the terra.
From the glass you won't drink just wine but you will experience the intense delight of the strong emotions the beautiful land of Maremma has to offer.
